Default Ice Thickness on Southern Alberta Lakes? (New to Forum)

Hey everybody, I am new to the forum and so far it has been great. I am 14 years old and have a born passion for fishing. I just love it!

I was wondering if anyone knew the ice thickness on any of these lakes?
-Pine Coulee Reservoir
-Lake McGregor
-Chain Lakes
and any others that are in a 1-2 hour drive radius for Calgary. I am currently researching these lakes to find out more tips and info and looking at previous and current threads also to find info. Thanks a million guys

Kyle

I look foreward to your pictures. It seems you go on average fishing every 3 days. What a way to live!

Man can I ever relate. I am retired but work one week a month. Does not cover my gas bill.

I try and get out min. 2 days a week and at that my gas usually runs around 600 month. Big problem is every lake that has decent fishing is 2 or more hours away.

Should move back to Leth. where my long drive would be a hr 15.

Saw quite a few were trying their luck on the ice at Keho saturday morning. Not sure how thick it was yet, everyone was staying on the canal.
