Default newell report?

I am heading to Newell for 4 days thursday and and staying at the Kinbrook Island Provincial Park. We are bringing a boat... but are there docks you can fish off there too? Also, i am thinking of bringing my waders to do a little pike on the fly... any reed beds near park?

any good pike spots?

Thx to all in advance

Lake is full of pike, and I mean full. Lots of weed beds on top of flats that have weeds that grow up to surface in 15 FOW. The drop off right out from the boat launch and the PP is good if the lake isn't busy, especially early morning. The point just north of the launch also decent fishing.

From shore, two spots that I know of. You can fish off the wier that protects the boat launch. Toss out a pickeral rig as far as you can, lots of walleye there in evening. You can also try the inlet on the NW part of the lake, where the water flows into Newell.
