Default Rifle Basix

I put a Rifle Basix trigger into my Savage Axis. I know they make them for the 111 as well. It was 90 bucks to my door. Took less than 2 weeks to arrive from the time I ordered it. The customer service is very good, I had a question about the install and revived a helpfully phone call about 10 minutes after I left a message. Install was very easy I just second guessed the instructions instead of following them. The trigger is beautiful. No creep and can be adjusted to scary light.

Good luck with your decision

A buddy of mine put a Rifle Basix on his .257, loves it, tightened his groups right up! The way I see it, you can't go wrong with an aftermarket trigger.

Rifle Basix
Timney
Jewell (I can't find the website, they are available at Brownells, but pricey!)

All are great upgrades! Good luck with your decision!

Smile Savage axis

I had one of those triggers that took 2 hands to squeeze, thanks to this forum I got a Basix too, I needed phone support and it was great, cool accent too. Now I can put the holes within 1/8" at 200 M. Once the crop is down this week the coyotes will get to enjoy it too.

Question Timmy Trigger dealers in Canada

*Sorry if this has already been covered*

I'm looking to pick up a Timny Trigger for my Savage Axis XP. Seem like there are quite a few American retailers but not many Canadian. I found a place called Al Flaherty's based in Ontario but they are sold out ATM. Anyone know another Canadian retailer?

TIA

IIRC the last trigger I picked up got a Ssvage was from Wetaskawin ? Accurate Action I think was the name of the outfit .

I've got a spare Basix SAV-2 Stainless kit for you if you are looking..... it wouldn't work in my chassis.
