New scope day

Well after some hard thought decided to shed some weight off my LR hunting rig replaced my nxs 3.5-15x50 ( love this scope ) decided to try a vx5hd 3-15x44 shaved a whopping 11 ounces off my rifle. Should be able to try it out later today or tommorow.
Anybody running a vx5 reviews good or bad appreciated

Thats a fair bit of weight, smaller tube diameter as well? different rings too?

Tube on both is 30mm and was able to go from a medium ring height to low. Another upside to this choice is the lower profile turrets fit in my scabbord much better

So how do you like your new scope so far ?? I wanted to have a look at the VX5HD but haven't found one yet where did you get yours??

So far so good only played out to 300yds so far no complaints glass is clear, parallax cleans up nice and the two turn locking turret has very nice ergonomics good eye relief only thing id mention is the short tube would not have mounted for proper eye relief on my long action with two piece bases i run rails on most of my rifles so it was not an issue.
Got mine at bass pro they apparently go through korth now so i didnt mind.
