I've had my inflatable out there a few times this year. Launched it right near the skateboard park. Although I've only gone on weekdays when there's less traffic on the water.

Actually, this is quite relevant to my interests.

Can any of you fine gentlemen update me on what it's like out there on lake Chestermere so far?

Specifically I'm wondering how those rocky, channels- the ones going out on the south end by road 791 and Sand piper lane. That side of Chestermere.

Also, is it true Chestemere has a Goldfish? I heard somewhere a long the grape vine they had goldfish.

I tend to stay away from those big rocks as my lures always get caught... this summer I've just been staying right on the weed lines and using everything and catching everything. Spinners, Spoons, Rap's, Jigs. Everything from my buddie catching the only keeper "68cm" on his first cast EVER. to a 5 inch pike hitting a 3 inch spoon.
