Which electric down riggers would you purchase scotty or cannon

If you have hummingbird fish finders 700 series and up I would go with cannon digitroll. Or if you are planning to add a hummingbird.

Otherwise I would go with Scotty. I have Scotty and like. Read up on the digitroll and Scotty an see what will work for you.

I HATE to agree with huntsfurfish but he is 100% bang on.

Scotty is the way to go if you are not using the features of a DigiTroll Cannon with your Humminbird.

I have Scotty - love it.

I have to agree with huntsfurfish on the cannon I have exactly that combination and works flawlessly. The cannon also has the ion feature not sure if the scotty does
