2010 Hunting Season
Guys,
Pics of my 2 bow kills in 2010.
Cow Moose Sept. 29 @ 60yards. My father called in a 2 year old bull @ 25yards Oct. 2 also.
WT Buck Nov. 12 @ 11yards.
A trophy in my books, as this year I got onto the trail cameras and spent in excess of 30 mornings/evenings in the stand waiting for MR. 4X5, probably a 165 class WT. Never saw the deer I was after, never had much success rattling either. On this guy, with only 2 days left to hunt...yardage/angle/time/everything were perfect.
***Check out the second pic of the bucks heart. Bullseye! I'm not changing to the expandables just yet, I'm content with the fixed blade muzzies for a fraction of the cost. This is actually the first 4 blade I've ever shot. When he ran his short last 40 yards, it looked like a Quentin Tarrantino movie!
Both the cow and the buck were taken within 1 mile of my house in 248. I can walk to my stands!
Maybe I'll get my trophy next year...
