Driving along #1 just outside Redcliff -10 snow and wind....gophers out? Crazy little guys!

They've been out for at least 4 weeks along Glenmore Trail SE. We've been shooting on a 1/4 section within an hour drive of the city for 3 weeks; between us, the landowner and his SIL we've shot over 600 so far.
Once they come out of hibernation, not much will keep them below ground for very long.

Living in the North I am not used to seeing them this early, especially on a windy cold overcast snowing day
