Default pik rig storage

Quick question, How does everyone store their pik rigs when in your box? Tired of having line everywhere and lookin for a better way.For my floating pik rigs i have found a little piece of foam works well for wrapping the rig around but doesnt work that well for the sinking rig.

I realize it's a little wasteful but I tend to just toss mine out when I'm done with them. For 99 cents they aren't worth messing up my tackle box.

Not buying them would even be better then storing them. No garbage to throw out and more fish will live. But that's just my opinion.

A CD binder-one "envelope" per rig. Works good to keep them separate and doesn't take up a lot of space in your box.

Good Idea !!!!- I don't use pickel rigs, but do use spinner rigs and tie up some hoochies and other rigs myself.

The Lindy rig foamy cylinders and plastic tubs never seem to work well enough and I get line memory as the radius is too small for my liking.

Your idea is an great one ..... so I looked up a hard case and found this .... looks like a great idea.

Cheers!!!!!

The nearest dumpster would be the best way to look after the storage issue. IMHO these should be banned!

Cut out all the terminal tackle, throw the line away learn how to rig up a slip sinker. if you want the dual line, use a 3 way swivel between your main line and weight stop swivel with the weight in this middle section. a little lindy rig corky for the top line for flotation may help.

another p-rig hater here.

Good luck with that. Probably more fish caught in Alberta with pickerel rig than all others put together
Also would be a good idea to start banning other methods of fishing.

I also use ziplocks both sandwich bags and smaller ones you can get from Michaels. Tried CD book but was to much wasted space.

I would ban the use of dropper flies first. the fly anglers pickerel rig. I have seen them foul hook and snag more fish than aanything in use today
