New to area is there any good ice fishing within an hour or so from Peace any pointers would be greatly appreciated thx Sacky.

Snipe lake, pike, perch, Winagimi Lake, pike, walleye,

Dollar lake,Rainbows

my 3 fave spots in that area are joker, haig and sawn. joker = perch and small to medium size pike. haig = small to medium size pike, medium to large eyes, good for whitefish in early season. sawn = medium to large pike up to 20 lbs. been a few years now since i been up there, could be some changes to what i just said.

Granted it's been a few years now since I've fished either, but Figure Eight and Sulphur Lakes both offer very good fishing for Trout. Both lakes are within an hours drive of the town of Peace River also.
Figure Eight lake has Rainbows and possibly some Brown Trout as well, although I know they stopped stocking Browns there several ago.
Sulphur lake contains Rainbows and Brookies.
Both lakes are quote popular and are easy enough to find should you decide to give them a try, but feel free to PM me for directions if need be.

went to figure 8 a couple of times caught a bunch of nice rainbows. might try east dollar by valleyview anybody been there
