Good to hear, you will never do away with your spinning reel but you will learn to love the caster and use it more then you think

I wasn't even casting as hard as I could and I could still throw it further than I could with my spinning rod.
I was slaying the like from my giant rock, and a couple of boats saw and started trolling just out of my casting distance.

I love when you can see them following and you pause and twitch and watch them take it.

My new rod has so much power in it. I barely had to set the hook because of it. Just a little tug and it was in there

Oh and if you don't know easy way to remove bird nest search it up on youtube. Just reel in with thumb pressure and then pull out line. Repeat as needed. Haven't had to cut a line ever with this trick although been close. I also find mono doesn't seem to nest as easily as braid although it seems to be harder to keep tight on spool.

Sweet man! I told you it'd be worthwhile!

Glad to hear you got the hang of that baitcaster too

It was funny watching all these boats start sneaking towards me.

The crank I was using sat in my kitchen for 7 years and I finally tried it last summer and it's the best hook I have EVER used for pike and walleye.

Tey still make em too so I grabbed 2 more haha
