it's easy to find a launch place along that road beside the lake. Just very hard to get a spot to park your vehicle....I usually park my vehicle at a public park but it's a little too far from castle island..
Is there a reason you want to be by castle island? If you want to fish walleye let me know. I can give you a spot with a close beach. Probably the same one I gave coyotezh. Let me know. If not there is a couple beaches near castle island. Parking isn't the greatest though as mentioned.
