Default Made a stupid mistake

I finally broke down and bought a mapping chip for my fish finder. I ordered it through Gps City and it showed up in 2 days. Great quick service. I opened it up read instruction and stuck it in finder and nothing. Turns out I bought a version not compatiable with my finder. The problem is, that because it is opened I can not return it.

So if anyone has been thinking about purchasing a Navionics hot maps platinum version I will trade you straight across for the much cheaper version I need which is the Hot maps premium version.

Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

Thanks

They are both Navionics chips - they should both work or neither will work.

You might have to change your unit's settings. Mine was set to read a lowrance chip so it didn't read my navionics chip. I thought it was my chip too but once I changed the setting, the map data became visible.
