Went out this morning , only a few people out at north launch, 1 at west launch and another at east launch. 5-6" good ice about 75 - 100 yrds from shore 7 FOW that is all I went to. Little jacks and didn't see no perch.

Anyone happen to go out to burnstick this weekend? I was hoping to take my kids tomorrow, Monday, to try and catch some perch off the north launch. I wanted to be sure ice thickness was good enough to be completely safe having them with me.

Went there today, but no one was fishing from the public launch on north end, I thought it was weird so went to the hamlet side on west side and walked out, 8 - 9 inches of good ice. Slow as heck though perch were nibbling but being evasive, then nothing.

Was there on Friday. Parked at the east side, walked through the campground and onto the lake. Tested a few holes, 6" of ice. Walked a lot towards north and east, some spots there were slush and a bit scary, backtracked. In total drilled 20 holes, only saw couple of small pike on camera, no bites.

I believe you were the guy me and my girlfriend talked to by the campground on the south west side when you were just leaving. We went out another 50 yards or so past where you were fishing and punched some holes and same thing. 5-6” of clear ice and no perch.
