Default And it begins...

How can you tell it's hunting season in our home? My wife decides to leave to her mothers' for a Christmas baking extravaganza! Of course, the goodies aren't for us... They are for company. lol Bless her heart! Meanwhile the kids and I are going over to grand-mama's house to deliver fine meats of all kind and fry up some ternderloin for lunch...

Since I tagged my buck and every 200WMU has no sup. tag ( except the one in St. Paul area), I don't think I can pull the trigger on anything else this year unless I find birds or an elk. Hohum...I think I'm done for the year, let the withdrawals begin...

No doe tags in the 200's?
Honestly I didn't notice or look.
That is great news indeed!
Here is hoping srd knows what they are doing in this instance.

I went through the freezer yesterday.
To my surprise I still have elk in there from a few years ago.
I got so caught up on eating last years tasty moose.
I'm going to switch back to some elk for awhile.

I found some ground meat from my 09 mule deer.
is still very tasty, not freezer burnt at all.
It would be nice to have more fry cuts.
The kids and I like fried deer meat.
Hopefully I connect next week.

I like Nanaimo bars. Can you put in an order for me?
I like apple pie better though. Or those tender squishy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

Lots of that stuff a comin'. She usually makes enough to last the winter. The penut butter balls and marzipan squares go first.
