Default The "Natural" way of trapping coyotes..

Got sent this pic. A hunter in Manitoba apparently found him like this.

Those trees can be dangerous, sometimes they snap right together when you walk between them.

That ^ would be my guess ... or maybe a grouse sitting low in the tree???

Being trapped between those trunks, he probably died of dehydration for lack of water.

There's an old fashioned trap that was used in Europe for wolves and its made a lot like that. I won't post it here for fear of folks trying it but it does look efective.

found one hanging out the side of a hay stack....just like this but stuck between to big bales when he tried to jump. he hungthere until the farmer moved the bales

Kid brother found a bull Elk caught between two round bales.

Seems to me it was dead, at any rate he called F&W, they investigated and then offered him a license to salvage the meat.
Must have been accidental.

I can't imagine a wild animal getting it to such a fix but apparently it does happen.
