Keep your trade name ambiguous ..... you might be hauling gravel today but maybe 3 years down the road you will grow into hauling other products like loam, sand or asphalt ... heck you might even get into short deck LTL flat deck hauling ..... which when oil comes back around will keep a few trucks busy and making some money - so keep you name ambiguous is my best advice.

Think of what you want your reputation and/or image to be reliable? economical? strong? sexy? whatever and pick a name that matches what you are trying to say or trying to be.

Best wishes in your endeavour !!!!!

This ^^^^^^^^

I think most of these catchy and cute names end up sounding rather juvenile a lot of times.

Look in the dictionary. Lots of good business names there. That's where I got mine. And there's nothing wrong with putting your last name in there somewhere.

I think it's hilarious that so many business names these days, especially in the oil patch end with "solutions", or "energy solutions".....not much originality.
