Is this a Deer Skull?
Been out to a friends inherited farm property all summer clearing 30 yrs of junk, opening up the over grown yard etc. Wasn't there this weekend but they were and were adding on to a quad trail were developing and they found this skull. The round head, big eye socket and no jaw had me going wth? When I compare it to my elk euro, not even close. But a google search shows it is most likely a young deer.
Your thoughts?

Eye sockets look huge, rounded skull, it’s almost the shape of a primate. I think it’s a Bigfoot.
Did you find any feet bones???

I have 5 cams out there. If it is Bigfoot, I could be rich I tell ya
The skull is all they said they found. Next time I am out, I will be going to see this skull and have a closer look at the area.

It does, when I compare it to my Euro elk or a small 4 pt WT mount I got from a friend, they don't look the same. It's the big eye socket that I keep looking at. Maybe it is an optical illusion thing with the eye socket.
Within a couple weeks I will be back and have this skull in my hands for a closer look.

Seems to wide, at least from the angles of the picture, to be a deer. Hard to tell since the front mandible seems to be missing.
Could be a calf, sheep or something domestic? Hard to tell from those pics.

Ya, the jaw bone would help. It is in farm land but has never seen livestock and no one bordering the land has cows. The fence is old and down around most of the land so something domestic could have wandered in.
Its a fun CSI case

It's an adult ungulate. Too many molars to be real young.
Photos aren't good enough to determine further.
The real round, bulging rear of skull make think it is something I'm not used to. Domestic sheep?

Was back out to the farm. Pretty tiny skull. Better pics with size comparisons.
