so i just got this one called Rain Buddy, only 2 oz, for all you ounce counting mountain hunters or anyone else looking for simple sock for your gun that weighs nothing...this one happens to be waterproof, then take a peak,

i got the regular rifle one for my cz 527 with 24" barrel which is 42.75" long and has a 30mm tube leupold mounted in medium rings and it's an ideal fit, i believe they list at 45" long

and true advertizing, it weighs exactly 2 oz on my scale, should ride nicely in the kifaru gun bearer for going through parks etc. or however you wanna strap it on the pack or even stuff it in the pack

lol, my last hunt i used a little stuff sack over the barrel as the rifle was only 36" long and barely stuck out of my pack, and previous hunts i've used a blaser k95 takedown that just goes in the pack, but i wanna drag a full length going forward this little sock is pretty slick, may come in handy for when ****ty weather hits as well and keep that rifle minty as possible
