The Oil was all over the Ducks. It was an ecological disaster out there!

hmm it's kinda lonely in this forum 'course I am as guilty as hunting and work always trumps trashtalkn...hopefully the mighty Oil can make it 3 in a row and Captain Hook will continue to mess with Kippers mojo until he is a shell of his former self....

I hope it stays lonely. It gets this way when the Phlegms lose. The losers fans are pouting too much, I'm sure enjoying it.

Default Keep talkin' SOILER fans

This is just like last year in The City of Memories. The Whinnymo's miss the playoffs while in the 1st half the SOIL can do no wrong.. BUT wait.... soon the mantra of DUMPSVILLE rears its head and once more the MEMORIES come flooding back and the SOIL start dropping to the back.

Not much to crow about here in Cowtown these days.
Not sure what the problem is.
Coach is not the problem
Iggy is doing great
Dion is perhaps hurt a bit
Kipper is not on fire, but he is not getting blown out...

Something needs to happen before the year is down the drain.

Jamie

I just finished moving to BC. Among other things. Could say the same about kanon. Only showed up when things start to look up

Flames have to turn something around soon or they will be out by end of this month.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the bandwagon is going to start to lose a few instruments

Gagner is great on his shoot-out opportunities.
The commentators, and all Oiler fans knew his move.
What's with the LA goalie ? Doesn't he watch game films ??

Someone who promotes an american team singing about bandwagon fans!
Wow...
Might as well point at everyone and call them bandwagon fans. Seems to be the "in" thing to do.

Who was your team before 1980? Or before 2003 for that matter?

there isn't much a goalie can do on that move........hrudy talked about it a few weeks back i think. if the goalie tries to poke check and misses...it s an open net....if the goalie fails to follow the fake...open net......gags makes so much time for himself that it is hard for the goalie to do anything right. it is by no means unstoppable......but it is a crafty little move.

Just got home from the Flames game. Thank heavens they were able to shake off that first period and played a couple of really solid periods after that. I was sure impressed by the effort of Nystrom.

Could be lot of things jamie. Not enough depth could be one. Being overly physical could be another, I know the flames like to say they match up with anyone in the leauge physically which is true but at the same time you can be overly concerned with that aspect of the game and less so concerned with skating and play creativity and flow and such. Could be problems in the room already, that's been a tendency of Keenan teams of late not his old Flyer teams but more of Panthers and such. Could just be a cold streak. Could be the 3 and 4th line need more than a couple of minutes a night, so they aren't cold when the get out there, it's not a two line leauge anymore and Keenan tends to really work his top lines. Good luck to the Flames. The Oilers seem to be doing a little better lately better to loose with the kids than a bunch of free agents.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandwagon_fan

If you followed what a bandwagon fan was the flames should not have any left after what we have seen this season and last. Same with edmonton.

As per myself. Calgary was the first large city in canada I lived in. Before 2003. I did not see a whole lot of hockey while growing up in Australia. Never mind hockey not being a big thing in my house. Until I moved to Calgary(2001).

How about all you haters ? So bitter that flames had a cup run you have to label every fan as a bandwagon.... get over it. From now on any city that gets excited that its sports team is in a championship is all full of bandwagoners...

Ok, ive had enough dealing with this troll...
