Recurve actually didn't shoot this ram. I ran it down and killed it with his BARE hands!
Great ram, sir (anyone with pipes that big gets called 'Sir' in my world ). I hope to one day have the same good fortune. Congrats.

Thanks for the replies. I posted the field pics back in September. I will repost them again if you guys can't find them. The mount was done by a friend that does some taxidermy work on the side..

Like the ram, but who is the ugly fellow who keeps sticking his face in all the shots?

Heavy bases and dark horns, I'm guessing he took that one in 446.

I counted 7 1/2 years worth of growth rings, correct me if I'm wrong. So maybe not from 446, they grow a little faster on the reclamation sights. The horns looked like they were darkened by coal dust so thats why I guessed it was shot in 446.

I'd say 8 1/2 and I agree that it has nice heavy bases for a Willmore ram and it carries that weight well....beautiful sheep for sure. Congrats on an awesome ram!

If it is from Wilmore then yeah it ain't bad at all for bases I will agree.
It woud be nice to get some measurements there recurve if you go the time. I'd be interested to know what kind of length he has.

Here is a few more shots without my "ugly mug" in there!!
I got him up in the Wilmore (Smokey Area") with my rifle. If I get my draw in 410 next year, I will try to get one with my bow.

Could you give us the bases and the measurement for them if you don't mind and have some time? I am curious as to what they are. I have killed a lot of rams in there and most of them have small bases. You have great curl on the horns and they drop down pretty good for a wilmore ram. What is the length on the longest horn there. Again congrats
