Default I bought a browning abolt 3 need to pick a scope.

I bought a browning abolt 3 hunter in 7mm-08. I was thinking of putting a bushnell 3500 on it. Or a leopald vx1. My last choice is a vortex crossfire. Only have around 300 to spend. What's the best choice?

Another option is Nikon, and Prophet River is offering below cost prices on a large selection of Nikon scopes.

Too bad you missed out on the VX-1 sale, but as the guys said, lots of good deals on Nikons at Prophet right now. I have a VX-1 on my AB3 in .308. Works great with it.

Yep, I have a prostaff 5 I'm quite happy with. The magnification range 2.5-10 is very useful and the glass is a bargain imo. Have a look at what prophet river has - I've had good experience with them in the past.

A Leupold VX2 4-12x40 with LRD duplex would be a sweet one (I have on on my 243)or even the 3-9x40. Even consider the Burris scopes .

Default Scopes

As mentioned Nikons are great. Second choice would be Burris. Have a fullfield e1 and it's great

Nikon all day!
You can get a prostaff 3-9x50 for 319.99 everyday at cabelas.
Or if you want a 3-9x40 they have them there for like 250
