Default wiper blades

Driving around in this wet snow storm this morning my wiper blades became blobs of ice and would not clear much. Anyone find a wiper blade they think works well in the winter?

I have tried nearly every brand and have found that none really stand out. By thoroughly cleaning my hood & windshield off prior to my drive I greatly reduce ice buildup on my wiper blades.

I've never found a good blade for the winter snow gets on your warm windshield melts on to the blades then freezes.
The wiper blades on my Dodge 1500 self eject when it gets too cold, happened on Monday turn on the wipers drivers side fly's off just like last year only a plastic rivet holds them together.
The wipers on my van are the hideaway type that retract under the hood to use heat from the engine supposedly to prevent freeze up, fail! its also a huge trap for snow ,leaves and pine needles.

Bosch wiper blades from Canadian tire have been worth every penny for me. They have lasted me forever and work good all season especially in the winter.

X2 On the Bosch Blades. Ive been running them on All my Vehicles and they are the best I've found so far.
Ive had Decent Luck with the michelin blades as well but haven't used them in a few years now. Basically the same price as the Bosch.

My brother is running the thermal blades from thermalbladecanada.ca they're pretty slick. I'm thinking of making the switch too.

I buy the winter blades from Napa when the first snow flies. The covering of the frame seems to make it work better and not freeze up.

I have heated blades, never have an issue with ice buildup. Got them from FleaBay

And I agree, all wiper blades these days SUCK! You would think for the price they could figure it out
