Dr.Dri a plug? BAHAHA!
Have a look at where " the plug" is on the points list. I'd say he's doing just fine, even with his shortcomings.

Ekholm will also learn, that with Draisitle the chances of scoring are greater with him on the ice than off. He’ll also learn that Campbell is a sieve.
Vegas, LA, Seattle are starting their best team for the rest of the year gelling for a lay off run. Oilers should be doing the same. That means Campbell sits.

We had enough chances to tie it up or even win it but didn't get them past Hellibuck, such is life on to the next game, no peeing and moaning get ready to play Buffalo, Boston then the Leafs, and be happy that the flames have lost 5 in a row or we would be behind them looking up their skirt instead of the opposite.

Maybe Ekholm can help instill a more defensive culture here because this style won’t win playoff games.
It was also known throughout the league how fragile Campbells confidence is without the ability to show resiliency when he gets down. He is showing his shortcomings in spades now. His confidence sucks and I worry about him in the playoffs if we even get in.
Benching a guy like Kostin who just found his game and was making decent contribuitons had me scratching my head as well…

Hard to build any defensive structure with soupy between the posts.

They said it was a last minute scratch, so I am thinking it was injury or sickness related. There is no way he sits over Shore, especially against a heavy team like the Jets, and also considering how Friday's game ended.
Campbell is terrible. 1 good month is all we got from him so far this year.

Ahhh ok that would make more sense. Thank you for the clarification on that.
Hopefully Kostin is back soon. This road trip won’t be a walk in the park…

Let’s see if the Kraut can keep it under three turnovers this time in the second….

Some good work by our bottom two lines lately. Shore seems revitalized since the call up. Bjudstad 10/10 on face-offs last night. Not the fastest guy but... Foegele and Janmark are playing well. McLeod kinda up and down. But Ryan! Liked him in Calgary, love him here. That's a few seasons with double digit goals, I think. I would sign him for another year. Smart player.

They need to keep the lineup they dressed last night. Ride Skinner until he has a bad night then give him a break. Looking at the schedule, they should be able to use this same lineup until they play the sharks in two weeks. Barring injury of course. At that time if they think Skinner needs a break then let him watch the sharks game.
Heard yesterday that if the Oil had average NHL goaltending this year they'd have 9 more points than they currently have.
Going to need a little scoreboard assistance to get to first place in the division before the end of the regular season.

They'd be best off just making sure they make the playoffs vs having thoughts about winning the division. That's not guaranteed by a long shot and I don't see Vegas and LA falling back to be honest.

2 weak goals, Boston is rolling, winning after you give them a head start has been impossible this year, I don't like our chances
