Been to Jackfish a couple of times last week. Only seem to catch 20-24 inch pike close to shore. Of course mornings and afternoons seem to be the most active. I did see a decent walleye pulled out, but C&R (walleye limit 0). Would be interested to hear from others. Saw quite a few people out on Saturday.

Straight out from the boat launch about 75 yards southeast of the western tip of the island. Usually pretty good for pike and perch, catch the odd walleye. Haven't icefished there in years, but I've had some of my best winter pike days there including a couple 9-10 pounders.

Gonna try this lake again tomorrow. Good news is I have my 15yr old son and his friend along to pull/carry all my gear. Hoping for some tight lines tomorrow!
