I would just order it. I called yesterday morning and placed an order and it was at my place in Red Deer when I got home tonight.

I would have suggested this until tonight.

Tonight I ordered 4lbs of trap wax. For a total of like 22$. So I gave my credit card into etc.. submitted my order.. and thats when the screen told me shipping was going to be 25$.

So instead of 22$ for 4lbs of wax, its now 47$ for 4lbs of wax.

I'm mostly upset because I wasn't told it would be 25$ to ship 4lbs of wax until after my order was processed. I wouldn't have placed the order otherwise.

I wanted a couple rolls of 1/8 cable and I'm afraid the shipping would double the price

I bought my cable at the local hardware store, a bit cheaper then Halfords and no shipping, and they had furrels too.

I looked at the price of 1/8" double ferrules in Home Depot to make extensions for my foot holds in muskrat huts and it was ridiculous! I ended up buying a package of 50 at Halford's for $7.18. They have the cable there but I didn't check the price by the foot.

My original "shopping cart" also showed $25 for shipping but when the package showed up it was only $15 right to the door. $25 is probably a ballpark amount the computer throws on those orders. I know I can't drive there and back for $15.

Oops....I lied. It appears to be a spool of 7-strand 1/16" cable.

Is this any good for snares? I know nothing about trapping...
