6 coyotes so far , 1 fox , 1 skunk . All good fur , no mites or mange so far !! Boarded the skunk as well with no issues. For a first time effort I was pleasantly surprised how easy it went
This warm weather it tough , need to check everyday

Ram dogs
36 coyotes so far, and this morning I caught my first poor one. Small and starting to get mangy. Great quality coyotes this year so far. I hope everyone else gets the same results. Those Ram snares sure are deadly. I have some of my own, but don’t use them much. They scare the crap out of me. Have had great results using Senniker springs. Never used before this season, and I really like the results. Best of luck to all you snaremen and women out there!

Hey Peter, what’s the chance of you posting a couple of pictures of your sets before you catch a coyote in them? I don’t use rams but I’d be interested in seeing how it’s done. I can see why you you chose some of the set locations but I’m not seeing a lot of evidence of blocking or blending in the snares and I’m curious about that. Thanks.

this is a pretty thick wind row,the trails were already established through it when I first started trapping this ranch, very little blending done actually I just pick the really good pinch points and place rams there,I use same spots year after year as with rams there is very little disturbance.
