Default Tolman Bridge To Drumheller

Hey All,
Want to do this float this summer, how long will it take? How is the fishing?
Also I know there is another river access point way before Tolman on Highway 27, west of Morrin. How long would that float take?
Thanks

Bumping a way old thread. Wondering if anyone has done this float and if it could be done in a 14' aluminum boat with oars in October. Any kind of sketchy water that a fellow has to be worried about? Is there enough water to float a tinner without an extreme amount of trouble for the most part? How much time does it take?

Thanks a bunch!

A 14 ft aluminum might be a little hard to drag

The east side has a lockable gate, but I don't think the launch on the west side has a gate.

I did it in my canoe a couple weeks ago and there was just barely enough water for a canoe then. I don’t think there’s any way you’d get your aluminium boat down the river without a lot of carrying or dragging.
