Default Triple chicken hunt

Cold out there today but was a beautiful walk for some ruffies. Covered about 10k and scared up about 10 birds. Managed to get a triple with one on the wing

I walked a logging road that was freshly graded and looked under the conifers that had snow voids. Most of the birds were on the ground under the trees except for two that flushed from trees.

A good tip I heard was to look for open areas and hunt the edges about 0 to 10 metres in the not too thick brush. Islands or peninsulas of trees.
