would have been nice to go today, but it seems people float into this country in barrels, expect a job at a Convenience store, then dont show up for work, and dont even call in along with other horrors i wish not to mention, causing the manager to not be able to find cover shifts as no one picks up thier phone on a long weekend, leaving the Manager (my other half) to stay super late yet again, or on some lucky days, pull double shifts.

My rant is over. when she gets home we are gonna hit the river for walleyes, and im gonna look for a hole punch for barrels

Hey im back from Pigeon very very very sunburnt mannaged to catch a couple pike , and Sucram caught a pike and a walleye , It was great to fish with him very nice guy . That was the first and Last time I got to pigeon lake on may long weekend like that ZERO TOLLERANCE for a55holes who have no respect for guys who fish the shore lines , we were stuck fishing the shore line as I couldnt get my motor running but still fished , anyway I fineally layed into this one guy , told him what I thought of him and he couldnt even say sorry for not even watching as he was not responsible in watching of objects around him Ie my line and bobber 3 time the same thing happened , complete bullshat , Like I told Sucram not sure what this world is coming to , disrespectful clowns . And the Conservation officers and RCMP strolled thru , was good to see , Im going to bed cus Ive been up since just before 5 but ill post pictures tommorow . and ZERO ICE Except along the shore line.

Glad to hear you guys caught some fish. From past years of experiences, I've learned to stay the hell away from Pigeon Lake and other big lakes where people are going to boat for fun on may long weekend.

I was at Pigeon Saturday but did not wet a line all day. Was at a friends garage sale enjoying the weather and the odd beer. Then off to Spruce Grove to buy a lawnmower, always enjoy spending money on lawnmowers!

At the garage sale did pick up an Aqua View camera cheap, a brand new barbeque for $20 and a brand new little tool kit for the boat. Cabo has way too much stuff, most is brand new never opened.

Got back from Pigeon late lastnight,

We launched from Mulhurst and fished several locations.

May long is not a great time with all the friggin teeny boppers on sea-doo's who seem to want to chase any fish away from where you are fishing.

We fished the flats around mulhurst and managed about a dozen eyes in the 14-20'' mark in about a hour, we moved as boat traffic and sea doo's were getting way out of hand.

We moved to the point around the corner and managed a staggering number of small 12''-16'' fish and a single large perch. We decided the spot would be a good spot for fishing in the evening.

After dinner we came back and managed a better size range in the spot, with a 25'' being our best.Overall we got around 50 fish through the day.No pike though...

The action was hot, and we will be back as soon as the long weekenders move out.

I went out on Saturday at Pigeon. The fishing was good, we caught around 30, but nothing big. Biggest was 20 inches and we caught 1 pike. I have some underwater footage that i can hopefully upload by next week. If you guys look at it, the footage is from the provicial park.

I did not see too many, but there is two things i have to say i did not like. One guy purposally sped up as they were passing by us and made big waves. The other thing, at the campground one guy caught a walleye he shook it for 10 seconds, and chucked it about ten feet from the back of his boat. I did not like that, but overall it was a good day.

Bye the way nice little pike, i caught one about that size too. not too many big ones in there.

Couple of years back had a guy a few feet from me catch a nice Walleye in the NSR, he tossed it about 20 feet like a football.I wanted to throw him in behind it!!!

Report anyone you see abusing the resource...

That should lead to a license suspention IMHO.
