Depends on what you mean by "good". I had one once upon a time and it was great fun.
Pros:
Super lightweight
Non restricted
Reliable
AR mags

Cons:
Softpoints and hollowpoints didn't feed well
Stock iron sights kinda crappy
Stripping for cleaning difficult
"Battle accuracy" 1.5-3 moa, some heat stringing
Durability?

But because this is Canada I would recommend it and say it's worth the coin

We've got a SU-16.

Pros:
- Never had a single problem with it.
- Not really much recoil.
- Comes with AR style iron sights. Takes 5.56 as well as 223.
- Can mount a red dot or scope on the build-in rail.
- 2 built-in slots in the buttstock that can hold loaded mags is a nice feature. There's a built-in bipod but we don't use it.
- Accuracy is decent for a semi-auto. At 50 metres shooting with iron sights we can get a group inside 1/2 a palm print using cheap bulk ammo and waiting for the barrel to cool down.
- No powder stings for left handed people like me. (We have a Sub2000 Gen2 and my kids love it but I sometimes get a bit of hot powder spray as I use the S2K left handed).

Cons:
- That matte black pin to hold the SU-16 unfolded is guaranteed to be lost. I went and bought three stainless 1/4 hitch pins+split ring from Lowes and use those instead.
- I don't find field stripping hard. But you have to clean the barrel from the muzzle.
- I'd like to have a rail on the side or bottom to mount a light. For hiking and camping an attached light will be perfect.

SU-16 has a pencil barrel so it gets really hot if you use it nonstop. But for our purposes it's great. It is super light weight and ideal for us when we go hiking or camping.

There's a lot of negative comments on the 'net about Kel-Tec. We've got the SU-16 and Sub2000 G2 and never had a single problem with either. They still run even when they get extremely dirty.

Sending you PM on your S2K...
