Default Endura Paint

Has anyone used clear Endura paint on nicely figured wood stocks? I'm just looking to see if this is a good option over oil and sealer.
Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Endura is a two part epoxy paint, not likely to adhere to a slick oily surface.

Ummm, how are you planning on getting the paint to stick to an oiled stock ?

Endura is an automotive/industrial coating, not something most woodworkers use.

So no, not a good option...

Yes, it is a two part epoxy that they mix in an aerosol can. I have used it on chrome/moly barrels which need to be decreased prior to application. I assume the same would apply to the wood stock. Call them...Edmonton store.

I have used the paint on steel a lot,I wouldn't try to put it on a oil based stain.
They have a web site, and they do have some water based products that may go over a water based stain but I would consult them first.

I should have worded that differently. I meant clear Endura or oil and sealer. How does it look and bring out the wood grains?

I used it to finish a 444 Marlin stock. Very tough, durable finish. Have also used it to finish table tops. Great product!!
