Default Indian Graves/Porcupine Hills grouse?

Hey guys,

I got the weekend off and I see ruffie season is still going. Anyone had any luck this year with grouse around these areas? I went to Porcupine last year and got skunked and so did a few buddies so I’m hesitant to hit that spot again unless someone has seen some action.

Cheers

A couple years ago a friend took me to a great spot near Indian Graves. I want him to remain a friend so I will keep the exact location secret.

Didn't get out there this year, last year did ok with the dog, 5 the day I went out looking, it seemed to me they were in pockets and away from heavily traveled areas.

I took a pair of ruffies in mid October in the bear pond area, otherwise was a very slow season out there for grouse. Seeing as I'm off now until the 2nd, I might make the drive out and see if I can find anything moving. Might be tough with the snow and temperatures now
