Fishing from shore on the island is almost impossible.The tree roots are thick along the shore and about 20 to 30 ft. in to the water.Lots of snags.Where the upstream camp site was is the worst. Right off the shore there its 11 FOW now.But its so full of roots, thought I was going to have to cut my anchor rope. There is going to be a lot of hooks lost there. I left a few.

That sucks.....never fished the SSR but from everything ive heard that was quite the spot
