They actually reflect a very small amount of opioid addict that use fentanyl. Not to negate those this has happened to.
Easy reading. One of these guys is dead from a gang war. The others are still unconvicted at this point.

drugs n such
The access to help is disgusting. Unfortunately like many we have had first hand experience with this and it is hell. A fellow in our family was told that when a spot came open that he would be contacted and he could check in. Problem with this is that he needed help "now" not in 2 or 3 weeks.
Then...how can he be contacted to let him know?????? More often than not we never knew where he was or could reach him. Oh ya, and after 10 days they sent him packing because he was "better" ?!?!?!
Where I really get riled up is the injection sites. Not long long ago it was posted how many lives were saved because of staff at a site and there were overdoses. Not to be an ingrate, it's good lives were saved but this is an illegal activity and people are doing this to themselves knowing the risks.....but now scenarios kick in .......some guy minding his own business living a clean life has a heart attack (or whatever emergency) that he has no control over can't get the immediate help he may need because some junkie is using up medical services. Add to this my taxes pay for this and I can't get service when I need it and a great number of the users have no jobs, pay little to no taxes, and don't have health care.
No petition is gonna help. It's time for another action but we Canadians are too polite. That's going to be another thread, sometime.
I'll stop before I start ranting and rambling.

Thats why they are called supervised consumption sites.
Police are also told that junkies in the area are hands off as not to criminalize addiction.

Many scourges can affect society, economics, diseases, drought, ..... Fentanyl isn’t a scourge in itself, just an indicator of the larger problem. Blaming the user is hollow. It was mentioned that society accepts a portion of deviance, which I agree, but social cancers should be battled.

Continuing to use in a safe injection site does NOT help at all, continuing to use and trying to get clean are NOT the same, anyone who thinks continuing to is a form of treatment needs to pull their heads out of their rear!!

There's a great deal of science that flies in the face of this statement... Google Portugal drug policy for starters

Uh huh. There isn't any science. There is the opinions of leftist social workers based on manipulated outcomes on stats the control. Science is objective. That is not. You can disguise anything you want as a white paper if you control the peer group.
I suggest that you move to Portugal if they've got it so fantastic compared to the rest of the first world.
