Default Highwood wednesday

Heading out to the highwood wednesday, never fished it but was gonna head around the k country boundary. Anyone been out or willing to tell whats working or any decent starting points.

Bring foam hoppers. And also some stimulators and big dry tends to bring up some cutts and bows. If you are more looking for Bulls then get a some big white streamers and split shot

Stimulators yes, but hoppers this early? I've always thought of them as more a late summer/fall option. I never pull them out in spring because I don't see many real ones around. Have a lot of success with them?

Most of the time I end up ripping the legs off my Hoppers so they end up just looking like an oddly shaped moth. And it works quite well. Lots of big hits!
