Whenever I fish for grayling I use stimulators. They seem to love em. Can't help with spots around ft.mac though.

PINK, tie a few flies with pink bead head nymphs or pink biots, they just love pink. Also if they are rising they'll hit anything that goes by.

I've always had the best luck using Klinkhammers.

Rivers and creeks are rally high right now. I have had great success with any bead head and also black ants. An elk hair caddis works well.
I'm not sure where to tell you to go. Haven't been out due to the circumstances. Sapree creek lower end in draper valley has a few fish. Other than that you can try the hangingstone. My best luck is south of town either hitting creeks off 881 or going down 63 to the house river

They have small mouths and the klinkhammer hook is perfect for fish that like to sip on the surface. It will catch more fish than most hooks.
