I call BS. 99% of skunks sold? I had 5 there all different sizes and all selects and not 1 sold or shows up sold anyway. They really should of hired nafas spin doctor he was way better at making sales sound better than they were.

Beat me at what?

I thought that the top lot Western coyote was $165.

That average for "Eastern HVY" is HUGE but I'm not sure what they consider an Eastern HVY. In the past the used Eastern, Central and Western as categories and Eastern usually averaged way less than $109 ($61.72 last May auction)......That is epic at 100% sold!

Are these the new terms for Western, Central and Eastern now?

Western Heavy
Western Semi
Eastern Heavy

Oh, and where are the Western beaver?

Kingrat, you must be a 1% skunk trapper. Maybe they didn't want SEL skunks?

So FHA only lists first section goods. If you look at the bottom there’s a little disclaimer. Not a true average. One of my complaints with them.

When you get to the website hit the home button in the upper banner. It changes the latest news list and it’s there.

Guess it was $150, again, my deepest of apologies. Hope you don’t hold it over my head for months/years to come?

One source sez 13,000 sold, other sez 15,000
$45 USD overall average, but who cares as top end not sold
Completely unofficial and therefore rumour, may or may not be true

Rumours are fun! Aren’t they?

Can be a very good source of info when fact is obscure/hidden/evaded

I like their valuations, not that it means much I guess but I would've been happy.

At least they held to them and did not give the fur away. Glad they released the valuations. Gives me something to day dream about.

Last post on the topic. FHA sold fur in a global pandemic. Kinda of like selling ice to an Eskimo.

Well done!!

How can 100% of Eastern Coyotes sell and there still be a bunch of them in the PT catalogue?

The valuations were good IMO.

Am I blind, & missing something, or is there a reason the western heavies went mainly unsold? Is there more to be posted yet, those held over for a later sale in better times, or what am I behind the ball on here?

Seems incomplete

Marty what kind of price did you get?

Whiskey the heavies didn’t sell as buyers to not reach reserve bid.

I’m not sure exactly. There was a few pounds in the box and mixed grades and shrinkage.

Default Fha

I think I will start to shoot all the grizzly bears on the trapline. They All sold in the auction between $1100 and $1900. Now thats some real money. Save some calf moose and elk in the process.
