Question Nafa pt

I was looking around on my NAFA account and seen that some of my fur had sold. I didn’t realize that they were selling on private treaty.

To: NAFA Customers,

In these unprecedented times, everyone at NAFA sincerely hopes that all of you are safe, and that life will resume back to “normal” in the shortest possible time.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Government of Ontario (Canada) has ordered all non-essential businesses to close for at least the next 2 weeks. This includes NAFA. However, we remain open via phone and email for Private Treaty sales and a limited array of customer services.

While the March 2020 Auction was cancelled, the catalogues are now posted on www.nafa.ca, where you can view all available goods in order to make Private Treaty (PT) inquires and offers. The Terms and Conditions of Sale have been updated to reflect PT sales, but the flat 6% Commission remains for all invoices fully paid by Prompt Day (10 Days after Invoice date). Lot Keys are also available to guide you to corresponding lot numbers from our August 2019 auction and your previously marked catalogues.

After reviewing the catalogue, submissions for P.T. Sales can be made to NAFA at the contacts listed below.

Please note that given the current operating conditions for this company during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, a time period of up to 48 hours or two business days may be required before notification of the status of your offer will be received. Our staff are currently operating remotely and phone calls to the NAFA Toronto Office will not be answered. The following options are suggested for contacting our staff:

Email: sales@nafa.ca

Any of the following contacts by mobile phone, e-mail, WhatsApp, WeChat:

Iain Dunbar +1 416 873 9906
Rob Cahill +1 416 799 9841
Emily Baumken +1 416 937 5378

Deloitte Restructuring Inc, the Court appointed Monitor, will facilitate all banking transactions from receiving payment to paying consignors for sold merchandise.

With current labour restrictions and logistical limitations prioritizing essential items, we do expect some delays in being able to ship goods in the usual timeframe. However, we will be in a position to have your shipment ready as soon as we are able to be back to work.

We want to thank you again for your ongoing support and wish everyone good health. Stay safe.

Many Thanks,
NAFA Communications

Maybe a reason why FHA fur did not sell well and at very low prices. The few Chinese and Korean online buyers just picked over the NAFA left over fur.
