Default Abraham lake ice

Just wondering if anyone has been out on Abraham lately and what the ice conditions are like, not going near the dam but halfway up the lake off a point. I imagine there should be a good 10 inches of ice but just curious headed out on Sunday!

As of yesterday, the was no ice upstream of David Thompson resort. The wind really broke things up.

3-5 inches of ice at the cline
Open water in parts of the lake still
3-6 inches a dam
Fishing has been bit slow
Please don’t ever drive on this lake!!
We wait till end of jan before i even bring a quad out.
I only ever ice fish this lake. Only lake all season i fish.
Once you figure it out you can get some fantastic lakers and ranbows

Oh yes I’d never even tempt a truck on this lake, I don’t even drive on most lakes unless its 20 inches! I never fish the damn I’m out off the points and shoals catching the giants! Which of course I always release back!
I think I’ll just hit up cold lake until the ice is a little more predictable! Thanks for the info

This is great info. I am heading to the in-laws in Rocky this weekend and was thinking about venturing west. It would be my first time at Abraham. Might find another option instead.
