Thank for the link.
It's been hours since I've seen such fake news.

Actually there is some truth to the article. Some people are even trying to get them protected saying they're eastern red wolves or something along that. They definitely are a lot bigger than our western coyotes here.

Yes there is.
Makes me wonder why our usually very astute WB posted what he did?
From conversations with folks that live in the areas mentioned in the article, they are seeing, and have killed a handful of these hybrids.

So WB, care to elaborate?

Been living with and rearing Wolf Hybrids for damn near 40 years now.
I can easily attest to their intelligence, strength & endurance, and potential to be extremely dangerous under the right conditions...

Wondering...

Interesting stuff.
What defines a species?
What defines fake news?

Those poor wolves, naturally they'd never look twice at a coyote to mate but now they are forced to, all thanks to those damn farmers, and not just any farmers either, it's just the the evil White farmers.

Jeez, where to start.. how about the title or the very first paragraph. Or the next one, or..

Wolves and coyotes and domestic dogs have been interbreeding in North America for at least 10 000 years.

Love the line about wolves diminishing numbers causing them to get giggity with dogs.

Or how coyotes haven't adapted to Urban life....
But Wolf/coydogs did as they know how to eat cats....

I could go on, and on with this article, but that's enough.
Hate to break the spell.

Or maybe Rawstory is another Onion?
