Need some coyote fur to diy something at home. Could someone suggest a way to get a hide or tanned fur? Or buy from any trappers? Is it legal to buy? Just not sure

As mentioned, post also in the Trapping forum. Sometimes there are furs for sale on the Buy/Sell here, but you can easily buy tanned fur online, at Halford Hides in Edmonton, Trapper Gord's, and Marty Senneker has a company that sells tanned fur, too. He goes by Marty_S on here.

If you need a top quality pelt, get one from a trapper. i have noticed the ones from Halfords can be full of holes or missing chunks. Halfords would be cheaper though. All depends on the project you are doing

any pelt will need to be tanned to purchase. only Licensed fur buyers can buy untanned or raw skins
