Cool Jackfish Lake by Nordegg

Trout fishing has been really slow so I was thinking about taking the kids pike fishing. Don't know anything about the lake so I'm looking for some assistance. I'm trying to salvage my reputation. LOL. Thanks in advance. Aluminum boat and pitching spoons most likely

went there a couple times last week caught 1 small one if you are taking kids I would go to cow or buck way way more action. The sand bar at buck in 4 to 9 ft of water is non stop action pitching spoons,Cow is also great jack action although I haven't tried it this year.

Thanks for the reply. We are camping at fish lake and the little guy doesn't travel well. Will hit jackfish for a few hours and hope for the best

Default North end

I fished there for pike a few years ago and we caught a few on the Northeast side by a beaverlodge. Not too far from the Group campground if i remember correctly. Not sure if the beaverlodge is still there.

We had a good day. Landed three pike lost a few. Could have sworn my boy hooked a walleye by the way it acted. Never saw it so can't say for sure. The beaverlodge was the place
