Has anyone been to Newell lately? I Am heading there for the next week and am wondering how the fishing is. Any help would be great for as I will be taking my wife out fishing for the first time ever.
Hey Stella...my brother wen't out last weekend, caught 3 Wally's (a couple 2 pounders and about a 4 pounder)...make sure you have your licences and hooks crimped...F&G was out all day! Good Luck!
Was out Wed. for a short time had a few hits, lost a few at the boat. All in all it was not great but at least I got to fish. Weather says its not supposed to be blistering hot that might help.
