Default atv access

I'm looking for a lake that would require a good hike or quad ride into. within 3hrs of edmonton would be ok for a nice long day trip. I heard about grizzly lake, north of edson. Just looking for a good day trip with my wife, so quadding and fishing would be great.

Any advice?

Default Orloff, if you are a Duck that is!!!

If you are more in pursuit of winching and wading, try getting into Orloff. Very wet year, so expect the worst of conditions, then you won't be surprised or disappointed.

Default Grizzly

I wouldn't waste your time in Grizzly, I talked to a fisheries biologist for that area and he said it's not worth the trouble. Something abut the acidity or Ph in the lake can't sustain, low oxygen. I too thought about quading in and fishing but he changed my mind pretty quick.
