Default Browning Pump Action Rifle???

I'm a big fan of Remington 7600 pump action rifles.

Problem is that Remington is still out of business and nothing has been built under the name for many years.

Today I learned that Browning had in the late 1990's to early 2000's a line of pump action rifle that included Magnum calibers.

Trouble is, I have never seen one for sale???

Have anyone ever encountered this Browning Pump Action center fire rifle?

Drewski

Exclamation

They do pop up for sale now and then but as you’ve seen are fairly rare. Lots of 7600’s for sale most of the time. Looks like you just missed a NIB 7600 on CGN. What chambering are you looking for, and do you prefer carbine or rifle. Lots of eyes on here, someone will spot what you’re looking for.

You generally can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a used 7600 in 30-06 for sale. Lots of good 760’s around too

Remington was restarted a few years ago by Roundhill Group who moved head office and manufacturing to Georgia. They are making model 700 and 783 bolt action rifles, semi auto and pump shotguns.
Unfortunately they are not presently producing pump or auto loading rifles. Not sure if they plan to..

The simple fact is, that pump action rifles have pretty much faded away, so the market likely won't justify building them again.

Holy **** did you buy the nib 7600 in 243 with the rear stock damage that listed today?? That was a one in a million find for someone!

PS Elk, Rem pumps rock, ask any lefty. They can be incredibly accurate and if a guy runs an 870 these things are second nature

The point is , that most manufacturers aren't making pump action rifles anymore, because there isn't much of a market for them anymore.

What can a Browning pump do that a Remington can't to justify the difference in cost?
