Default Sinking Float Tube---help!

I was out at Carson Lake last fall in my Trout Traps float tube. While trolling along the public dock 800ft from shore I heard a pop and then a fizz. While hightailing it for shore I had to air it up three times by mouth just to get to dry land. Not fun at all. Back at camp I found that the inner seam had ripped about 2 inches. Anyhow, I went the the local fishing outlets to find that Trout Traps are no longer in business, so a replacement is out of the question, and the tube is V shaped so finding a replacement from another company is nearly immpossible! Anyone out there have a fix for a vinyl tube with a large rip in the seam? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Take your ride to the guys at Zeebec boats in Edmonton. They sell those zodiac-type inflateable fishin' boats and if they can't fix it, probably nobody can. They are a good bunch of guys too.
