beauty fish,

we caught one about ten years ago that was just under ten pounds. Many days of fishing to catch one.

You must be new around here. It's on the other side of the lake by the old grey barn.

Targeting Burbots, 8lb test. This Laker just grabbed the bait and ran. My PB Laker was 15.2lb 3 years ago, also in Ghost. Hard to catch a fish there, need to be in the right spot at the right time. Just felt lucky.

Not trying to be that guy but man this kinda annoys me. This lake is super pressured and it one of my favourite lakes to fish ONLY because I have spent a lot of time and money into looking for these gem fish in Ghost. Not trying to my offensive but to show off that monster and that it was from ghost lake sets off those people who have been keeping these fish off the radar of the internet. And yes I am jealous lol.

Cheers
Chuck

I doubt this post will increase the pressure much, ghost has always been an incredibly tough lake to fish, you won’t catch many which will discourage most from fishing there. Some of the fish you do catch will be a good size but you won’t be pulling them in hand over fist ever and until you get a handle on the lake you won’t catch much at all, perhaps the occasional one.

So with all those posted being caught it must be close to being fished out. So no sense anyone else trying, right?
Been a long time but always fished from a boat. West end. Hard going for sure. Tough lake. Have seen many a truck back in the day slip and crack into the ice. They would break through just off shore and keep trying to go out.

LOL...as someone said that's cause it's a tough lake to fish but it can be rewarding if you know where to go

Well then, don't be that guy.
Last I looked it was a public lake for all to enjoy.
Bet you own a jet ski too.

Fake news ........... no lake trout in there ........... lol

On a serious note, I think that's the toughest lake to catch on in the province - but then again, maybe you gotta put the time in to find the spots.
