Default Anyone have experience with Ram Mounts for your fish finder?

http://www.rammount.com/Products/Mar...8/Default.aspx

These mounts appear to be well designed and of quality construction. Could be just the device I need for mounting my Lowrance to my tinner. Anyone have experience with these?

I have one on my boat. Very sturdy, and have had no issues with any of their products I have.

I have a bunch of ram mounts for my hds units they work really good just gotta make sure to retighten every so often or the unit will drop in the rough stuff ,make sure you get a big enough mount for the unit your mounting, you might also wanna look at Cisco mounts they make some real high quality mounts a little more money though I think the reel doctor sells the Cisco mounts.

Have a couple on my boat, really love em as you can mount your finder and other equipment exactly where you want it. Lots of Ram configurations out there to choose from. I can flip this one around so I can see my finder from when I'm in the front of the boat.

Yup - ram mounts for all three head units, the trolling motor, and anything else I can think of !!!!!!! they are awesome.

Disregard the mount on the passenger side in the picture - was just setting up the cords when I took the picture. I ran an Ethernet hub, and cords to 5 areas in the boat, so I can have two at the helm and one up front on the bow, one at the passenger side, one at the back while trolling lakers etc.... any combination of three head units at spots on the 5 areas I wired up within the boat.

All you need is 2 extra base balls at those locations and you are set !!!!!!

I put on a high density foam block, with a zip tie, on the bottom of the arm to prevent the mount from giggling loose, but they are solid. They loosen up after hours and hours of bumpy gravel roads out in the sticks.

I love them.
