Default Ice conditions at mons lake

Anyone been to Mons lake this week. how is the ice holding up with these warm temps

Lakes in that area do not have good ice. Check conditions before you drive on the ice.

How do you no they arnt great. Have you been out that way this week since the warm weather. I hered it was still 14"-16" of ice

You'll need a heck of a lot more than a half dozen above freezing single digit days to have any impact to the ice at this time of year.

I made it out there yesterday and there was a solid 15-16" of ice.

Really 14 -16. Thats hard to beliieve when Long lake is maybe 12 at the most and the fishing slow.
